Wing Strengthens Rapid Drone Delivery Model

6 June 2026

Wing highlighted the capabilities of its drone delivery network, noting that its aircraft can carry orders at speeds of up to 60 mph (97 km/h) and complete deliveries with an average flight time of less than five minutes.

The company stated that this technology aims to help restaurants and businesses reduce delivery times without compromising product quality, especially for prepared food orders where speed can significantly impact the customer experience.

According to Wing, the platform has already surpassed one million deliveries, a milestone that reflects the gradual expansion of commercial drone delivery operations in various markets.

The company maintains that autonomous delivery networks could become a tool for expanding the reach of restaurants and improving the efficiency of last-mile logistics, a segment that continues to gain relevance within the advanced air mobility and autonomous services industry.
