Skyports Deploys Autonomous Drones in Singapore for Port Security

15 April 2026

Skyports Drone Services announced the deployment of multiple “Drone-in-a-Box” systems in collaboration with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), with the aim of strengthening security and environmental monitoring on the country’s waterways.

The remotely operated drones conduct regular patrols to identify security risks and potential sources of pollution at early stages, enabling a faster response from port authorities.

In emergency situations, these systems can be deployed almost immediately, providing real-time aerial surveillance to support the coordination of rescue operations.

The solution complements traditional patrols and reinforces Singapore’s strategy to maintain high standards of safety and sustainability within one of the world’s leading maritime hubs.
