10 April 2026
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched a public consultation process to gather feedback on potential updates to pilot training regulations under Part 141, with the goal of aligning training with the industry’s current needs.
The initiative seeks to incorporate more modern approaches to aviation training, aligned with new technologies, teaching methods, and operational demands of the sector.
The FAA invites flight schools, instructors, students, and other stakeholders to review the report and submit their comments by May 11, 2026, as part of the regulatory review process.
This process represents a key opportunity to influence the evolution of pilot training standards in the United States, in a context of rapid transformation in aviation.
