U Space Berlin Launches Drone Test Center for Air Logistics in Berlin

9-Sep-2025

U Space Berlin presented a three-year project that will serve as a testbed to explore the future of urban air logistics in the German capital. The initiative, developed with partners from Germany and Europe, seeks to evaluate the technological, social, environmental, and ecological impact of using drones in product delivery.

The program includes key applications such as the delivery of medical supplies, in collaboration with Labfly, which will include vaccines, medicines, blood, organs, and emergency supplies. It also includes a healthy food delivery service, promoted by Marktschwalbe and Aramak/ULLA restaurant, aimed at employees in Tempelhof business parks.

With this project, U Space Berlin aims to demonstrate how drones can revolutionize supply chains, urban logistics, and local commerce, providing fast, safe, and sustainable solutions for air mobility in urban environments.
