7 Nov 2025

The future of flight is taking shape ✈️. The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched a public consultation on regulations for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, addressing key issues such as pilot licensing, aerodrome requirements, and operating standards.

This initiative marks a vital step in the UK’s efforts to ensure these innovative new aircraft can fly safely and efficiently within its airspace. It further reinforces the country’s role as a leader in the transition to sustainable and advanced aviation.

The consultation will be open until January 29, 2026, allowing experts and the public to contribute to defining the regulatory framework that will shape the next era of flight.
