Skyports and Speedbird Aero perform final pre-flight checks on their Speedbird Aero DLV-2 before an inter-hospital medical cargo delivery in Turnhout, Belgium.

12-Sep-2025

The project, developed in collaboration with AZ Turnhout, seeks to streamline the transport of urgent medical cargo, offering faster and more efficient deliveries than traditional methods such as vans and bicycles. The initiative aims to become the first permanent medical drone delivery network in Belgium, optimizing hospital logistics and reducing response times in critical situations.

Skyports contributes its expertise in drone network integration and advanced air mobility solutions, while Speedbird Aero contributes its unmanned aircraft technology designed specifically for logistics. This collaboration represents a decisive step towards the adoption of innovative and sustainable medical transport solutions in Europe.
