2025-September-02

POET has developed a waste-to-energy project in Estelline, South Dakota, designed to capture methane from dairy lagoons and transform it into renewable natural gas (RNG). This initiative has the capacity to power more than 14,000 homes each year, generating significant benefits for local farmers, energy buyers, and the environment.

Brandon McLellan, Director of Project Management at POET, emphasized: “This project represents a win for everyone involved.”
