Parrot officially unveils ANAFI UKR: tactical microdrone with AI-powered ISR capabilities

Paris, June 2025 — European company Parrot has launched the ANAFI UKR, a range of tactical microdrones specifically designed for defense, homeland security, and civil protection operations. Developed based on real-world battlefield needs, this intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) UAV system stands out for its lightness, advanced autonomy, and durability in harsh electromagnetic environments and without GNSS signals.

📦 Key technical features of the ANAFI UKR

Secure radio architecture: encrypted dual system (Wi-Fi + 5G) with MARS military radio and LoRa backup for autonomous return.

Optronic payload: EO/IR gimbal with 35x optical zoom and FLIR Boson® thermal camera. Person detection capability at 2.2 km (EO) and 173 m (IR) from 121 m AGL.

Autonomy and range: Up to 38 minutes of flight time (standard battery) and 50 minutes (XLR battery), with a maximum range of 40 km and an operating altitude of 5,000 m.

Flight performance: Maximum speed of 17 m/s, handheld vertical takeoff and landing with AI gesture recognition.

Environmental resistance: Operates between –36°C and +50°C, IP53, and withstands winds of up to 15 m/s.

MARS RANGER configuration: Remote antenna kit for safe, remote control in complex tactical scenarios.
