Neste will supply 7,400 tonnes (9.5 million liters) of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to DHL Express at Singapore Changi Airport between July 2025 and June 2026. This agreement represents one of the largest SAF contracts in the air cargo sector in Asia and marks DHL’s first direct purchase of SAF for international flights from Singapore.

The fuel, produced at Neste’s Singapore refinery—the world’s largest SAF plant—will be blended with conventional fuel and integrated into the airport’s distribution system. Approximately 35% to 40% of the fuel used by DHL Express’s five Boeing 777s in the region will come from this sustainable blend.

The initiative reinforces both companies’ commitments to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in air transport and aligns with Singapore’s goal of achieving mandatory 1% SAF use on all flights by 2026.
