The collaboration focuses on the construction of new biorefineries, the conversion of traditional refineries, and the development of new initiatives in the field of industrial transformation.

This agreement supports its goal of decarbonizing processes and products through the development of new initiatives to produce biofuels for both aviation (SAF – Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and land and maritime mobility (HVO – Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil).

At the same time, the collaboration reinforces the joint commitment to a transformation that improves the entire energy supply chain, including all suppliers involved in projects within the Open-es system alliance, contributing to the competitiveness of Italian industry.
