EHang Strengthens its Global eVTOL Strategy with EN9100 Certification

EHang continues to expand its position within the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector through new advancements in certification, intellectual property, and international autonomous flight operations.
The company announced it has obtained EN9100 certification, an international aerospace quality management standard widely used in the global aerospace industry. This certification is geared towards strengthening processes related to manufacturing, safety, traceability, and quality control for aerospace applications.
EHang also reported that it has surpassed 1,100 patent applications worldwide, approximately 58% of which are invention patents. The company stated that this development is part of its technological innovation strategy focused on autonomous electric aircraft and urban air mobility.
Additionally, the company highlighted having completed more than 90,000 safe flight operations in 21 countries, maintaining a record of no publicly reported accidents in its commercial and demonstration operations.
The company was also recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for its advancements in intellectual property and technological development within the emerging aerospace sector.
These advancements come as EHang continues to expand the testing, certification, and operations of its eVTOL platforms in various international markets, solidifying its position as one of the most active companies in the AAM sector in Asia and one of the first manufacturers to obtain type certification for autonomous eVTOL aircraft in China.
