March 26 2025

Eve Air Mobility has reached a key milestone in the development of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft after successfully completing wind tunnel testing at the DNW (German-Dutch Wind Tunnels) facility.

During its tenth subsonic test campaign, the company evaluated aerodynamics, flight mechanics, structural loads, and aeroacoustics under Power-ON conditions, bringing it closer to certification of its eVTOL.

According to CEO Johann C. Bordais, these tests reinforce the design’s maturity and optimize the aircraft’s performance. Joined by Luiz Felipe R. Valentini, CTO of Eve, and Takara Edgard, test engineer at Embraer, the team highlighted how these advancements will drive future air mobility.
