EHang’s unmanned eVTOL, the EH216-S, successfully completed its first human-carrying flights in Indonesia a few days ago, marking a key milestone for urban air mobility in Southeast Asia.

With the support of the Indonesian Ministry of Transport and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the EH216-S demonstrated its potential as a safe and sustainable solution for inter-island transport, tourism, and emergency services in the world’s largest archipelagic nation.

The event was attended by senior government officials, reflecting Indonesia’s interest in adopting next-generation air mobility technologies.

📍 Having obtained the first Air Operator Certificate for autonomous eVTOLs in China this year, EHang continues its international expansion, strengthening its role in the transformation of urban air transport.
