The collaboration will reduce approximately 400,000 metric tons of lifecycle carbon emissions, equivalent to eliminating the total emissions of approximately 240,000 passengers on round-trip flights between London and New York in economy class.

SAF supplied by EcoCeres offers up to 80% lower emissions compared to conventional jet fuel, reinforcing British Airways’ commitment to use 10% SAF by 2030, in line with global aviation decarbonization goals.
