DJI Boosts Pipeline Inspections Without Interrupting Operations in Texas

20 March 2026

DJI highlighted the use of its enterprise drones in energy infrastructure inspection operations in East Texas, where Integrated Aerial Solutions is supporting Buffco in monitoring over 100 miles of pipelines without interrupting production.

Using advanced sensors, these drones can detect methane leaks with laser technology, identify thermal anomalies such as hydrates or ice blockages, and safely inspect flare stacks using high-zoom cameras.

This approach also facilitates efficient coverage of long pipeline corridors, optimizing monitoring processes in the oil and gas sector.

The use of drones in these operations helps reduce downtime, improve operational safety, and anticipate critical failures, positioning them as a key solution for the digitalization and modernization of the energy industry.
