Anduril Industries, a defense and space product manufacturing company, with UK and Archer, along with support from Skyports Drone Services and AtkinsRéalis, are teaming up to test dual-use eVTOL cargo aircraft in the UK market.

Together, Anduril and its partners will explore civil and defense applications in the UK using Archer’s Midnight eVTOL aircraft. This includes exploring Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations, enabling rapid response, low-emission logistics to support a wide range of civil and military uses in the UK, including cargo transport.
Skyports Drone Services complements this with its extensive operational experience, having conducted numerous Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) campaigns for major clients such as the NHS and Royal Mail. In 2024, it participated in the Royal Navy Heavy Transport Challenge, demonstrating the effectiveness of dual-use aircraft.
