Airev Advances Heavy-Lift UAS with 550 lb Payload Capability

8 April 2026

Airev has introduced its production-ready unmanned aircraft system (UAS), developed over the past two years through real-world operations and continuous flight testing. The platform is designed to address the challenges of long-distance heavy cargo transport with a focus on operational efficiency and rapid deployment.

The aircraft shares architecture with its manned counterpart and is capable of carrying up to 550 pounds of payload, supported by a 70 cubic feet cargo bay. Additional features such as folding wings, simplified operations, and compatibility with existing infrastructure aim to facilitate seamless integration across different logistics environments.

This development reflects the growing demand for scalable and high-capacity drone solutions, particularly in sectors where reliability, payload, and operational flexibility are critical.
