Gevo Signs Agreement with Biorecro to Accelerate Carbon Credit Acquisition

📍 ENGLEWOOD, Colorado — September 18, 2025. Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO) announced that its subsidiary, Net-Zero Richardton, LLC, has signed a Carbon Dioxide Removal Sales Agreement with Biorecro North America, LLC to market CO₂ removal credits generated at Gevo’s facility in North Dakota.

The agreement is valued at approximately $26 million in revenue over five years and includes the potential for volume expansion. The credits, certified by Puro.earth, will be available to companies with hard-to-abate emissions, offering immediate, high-integrity solutions.

Gevo’s site in North Dakota has the capacity to store up to 1 million tons of CO₂ per year and has certified 165,000 tons annually from 2022, establishing itself as one of the first industrial-scale BECCS (bioenergy with carbon capture and storage) projects operating in the world.
