Beyond Aero Partners with Luxaviation to Launch Its Hydrogen-Electric Jet and Accelerate Its Entry into Service in Europe
14 April 2026
Beyond Aero announced the selection of Luxaviation Group as the launch operator for its hydrogen-electric business jet, marking a key step toward its future entry into service.
The collaboration focuses on operational readiness, including defining mission profiles, initial routes, airport integration, and developing operating procedures aligned with certification. The goal is to bridge the gap between technological development and commercial operation within the business aviation ecosystem.
This progress builds on recent program milestones, such as the completion of the Preliminary Design Review (PDR), the validation of the propulsion system at TRL6, and the first manned hydrogen-electric flight in France, positioning the company among the most advanced programs in this segment.
Both companies will work on structuring the operational infrastructure, including assessing the readiness of airports and FBOs to integrate hydrogen, as well as adapting the customer experience and integrating it into existing fleets.
The collaboration also includes future demonstrations and operational validations under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) framework, with the aim of facilitating certification and enabling commercial operations in Europe.
