Sky-Drones Presents Hydrogen-Powered UAV at the UK Parliament

7 April 2026

Sky-Drones participated in a parliamentary reception hosted by Connected Places Catapult as part of the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative, an event that brought together policymakers and industry representatives to advance key technologies toward the UK’s net-zero emissions goal.

During the event, the company presented its hydrogen-powered UAV platform, highlighting its capabilities to significantly extend flight range, enable long-range BVLOS missions, and allow for low-emission aerial operations, especially in remote environments.

This participation is part of Sky-Drones’ collaboration with Intelligent Energy and Edge, focused on developing hydrogen generation, storage, and propulsion solutions for unmanned aircraft.

The demonstration reinforces the role of hydrogen as a key technology for the future of unmanned aviation, particularly in applications requiring greater range, energy efficiency, and reduced emissions.
