SkyDrive Expands Strategic eVTOL Network in the Southeastern United States with a Focus on Florida

10 March 2026

Japanese eVTOL aircraft manufacturer SkyDrive Inc. announced the expansion of its strategic network in the southeastern United States, with a particular focus on the state of Florida.

The company signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Aeroauto Global, Inc., a Florida-based Advanced Air Mobility integrator and infrastructure provider, for the future purchase of eight SKYDRIVE (SD-05) aircraft, including preliminary agreements on price and delivery schedule.

In addition, SkyDrive announced the expansion of its collaboration with SAI Flight, extending its cooperation from South Carolina to Florida, where SAI has one of its main operational bases.

With these agreements, the three organizations aim to accelerate the deployment of advanced air mobility aircraft and infrastructure in the southeastern United States, laying the groundwork for the entry into service of eVTOLs in 2028.

The strategy combines SkyDrive’s technological development, SAI Flight’s flight operations, and Aeroauto’s commercial network, creating a business platform designed to drive growth in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) market in the region.
