Alt Air partners with Eve Air Mobility and Skyports Infrastructure to boost electric aviation in New South Wales and Queensland.
10 March 2026
Eve Air Mobility announced a strategic collaboration with Alt Air and Skyports Infrastructure to prepare the deployment of eVTOL services across New South Wales and Queensland in Australia.
The initiative aims to build a complete Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem, including vertiport infrastructure, route planning, airspace integration, ground operations, and passenger experience.
Alt Air plans to leverage existing aviation infrastructure in Sydney, including potential operational bases in Sydney Harbour and Palm Beach, while Skyports will lead the assessment and development of new vertiport locations across key urban and regional corridors.
The partnership will also evaluate priority routes connecting major population centers, business districts, and tourism hubs, including links between the future Western Sydney International Airport and downtown Sydney.
The three companies are working toward a commercial rollout roadmap ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, which is expected to act as a major catalyst for Advanced Air Mobility in the region.
Through this initiative, Australia aims to position itself as a global leader in electric aviation and advanced air mobility, improving connectivity between airports, city centers, and major event venues.
