Jet Aviation to Supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel During the 2026 World Economic Forum in Zurich
20 Jan 2026
ZURICH, Switzerland | January , 2026 — Jet Aviation announced it will supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) during the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. This will be the fifth year the company has facilitated the availability of SAF in Zurich as part of its forum-related operations.
Jet Aviation was the first company to introduce SAF in Switzerland during WEF 2020. Since then, it has supplied SAF on-site during the 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions, and through the Book & Claim system in 2022. SAF is recognized for its ability to reduce lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional aviation fuel.
During WEF 2026, Jet Aviation will offer SAF directly at its Zurich facility, reinforcing its support for lower-emission aviation operations. The company has also expanded access to SAF in Switzerland through permanent supply at its global headquarters in Basel.
Currently, Jet Aviation facilitates access to SAF through a combination of physical supply at 13 facilities worldwide and its global Book & Claim program, which allows customers to claim the environmental benefits of SAF even in locations where it is not physically available.
In addition to supplying SAF, Jet Aviation continues to implement operational sustainability measures, including infrastructure built to sustainable standards, electric charging stations, electrical ground support equipment, waste management, recycling, reduction of single-use plastics, and the development of bio-based materials for non-structural applications in VIP terminals.
Jet Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and has more than 4,500 employees and 50 locations globally. Their services encompass aircraft management and sales, chartering, aircraft completion, FBO, government programs, maintenance, and staffing.
