Regulatory Authorization and Aeronautical Certification Enable EcoCeres to Export Sustainable Aviation Fuel from China

7 Jan 2026

EcoCeres announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ECO Biochemical Technology (Zhangjiagang) Company Limited, has been included on China’s official “White List” for the export of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and has obtained the airworthiness certificate issued by the country’s relevant authorities.

These two recognitions position the Zhangjiagang facility within a select group of certified SAF producers in China, confirming compliance with stringent aviation safety and operational reliability standards for both the domestic market and international exports.

EcoCeres stated that this advancement reinforces its position as a reliable supplier of SAF from Asia to global markets, expanding opportunities to supply sustainable fuel to airlines, fuel distributors, and other stakeholders in the value chain. The company also noted that these certifications support the development of a more resilient SAF ecosystem, geared towards the decarbonization of global aviation.

The company highlighted the support of mainland Chinese authorities, the technical departments and experts involved in the process, as well as the collaborative work with partners and internal teams. EcoCeres stated that it will continue to build on this momentum to bring larger volumes of circular, waste-based SAF to market, in collaboration with its stakeholders.
