Skyy Network Expands Medical Drone Network in Romania and Opens Operational Positions

31 Dec 2025

Skyy Network announced the expansion of its medical drone logistics network in Romania, developed in collaboration with MedLife, following two years of operation and validation of what is considered the largest network of its kind in Europe. The expansion includes new active routes, a greater number of flights, and the addition of more cities to the system.

As part of this growth, the company has begun recruiting civilian drone operators to support daily flight operations. The role involves training on two different drone platforms, executing long-range missions (50–100 km or more) between hospitals and laboratories, and participating in security-critical operations with a direct impact on the healthcare sector.

Skyy Network indicated that the network’s growth is also generating international career opportunities for operational staff, reinforcing its expansion strategy in BVLOS drone logistics applied to medical services.
