EHang Unveils the VT35: The Next-Generation Long-Range Unmanned eVTOL

13-oct-2025

EHang Holdings Limited officially unveiled its newest long-range autonomous eVTOL, the VT35, during an event held on October 13, 2025, in Hefei, China. This model marks a significant evolution from the VT30 prototype, cementing EHang’s leadership in smart and sustainable air mobility.

The VT35 features a lift-and-cruise design, a two-seat configuration, and an estimated range of 200 kilometers, making it an ideal solution for intercity, maritime, and mountain transportation. Its compact design and ability to operate from the EH216-S’s existing vertiports reinforce EHang’s vision of a fully connected aerial network.

Equipped with a fully autonomous flight system, electric propulsion, and advanced safety technology, the VT35 represents a decisive step toward a cleaner, more efficient low-altitude air transportation infrastructure.

Zhao Wang, COO of EHang, highlighted:

“The launch of the VT35 marks a new chapter for long-range unmanned eVTOLs and accelerates their commercialization in various scenarios.”

For his part, Huazhi Hu, founder, chairman, and CEO of EHang, stated:

“The VT35 and the EH216-S will work together to build a connected air mobility network, driving safer, smarter, and greener transportation.”

With the VT35, EHang continues to push the boundaries of autonomous aviation, reinforcing its role as a pioneer in creating a global sustainable air mobility ecosystem.
