This week, Archer Aviation hosted representatives from the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) at its headquarters in the United States as part of the progress made in the regulatory pathway for its Midnight aircraft.

The GCAA’s type certification approach focuses on specific validation activities to confirm the readiness of the Midnight eVTOL prior to the commencement of passenger air transport services alongside the company’s partners in the Emirates.

Archer expressed its gratitude to the GCAA for its continued efforts toward the common goal of safely launching air taxi services in Abu Dhabi as soon as possible.
