SkyDrive Inc., a leading Japanese eVTOL aircraft manufacturer, announced the appointment of Naomi Ishii, Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, and Yuki Takemori, Executive Director of the Development Bank of Japan (DBJ), as new independent directors.

With this addition, SkyDrive strengthens its governance structure as it advances the development and certification of its SKYDRIVE SD-05 aircraft, designed to transform urban air transportation.

Ishii will bring her expertise in production, quality control, and global supply chain from Suzuki, while Takemori will contribute his knowledge of investment and innovation within the aerospace sector.

These appointments reflect SkyDrive’s commitment to strong management and a long-term vision to accelerate the arrival of advanced air mobility in Japan.
