Otto Aerospace Secures Historic 300-Aircraft Order with Flexjet

30-Sep-2025

Otto Aerospace, a next-generation aircraft manufacturer based in Bentonville, Arkansas, announced a historic agreement with Flexjet, a global private aviation operator, becoming the launch customer for its Phantom 3500 executive jet. The order includes 300 aircraft with additional options and is considered one of the largest contracts in business aviation.

The Phantom 3500 is a completely new aircraft design, developed with laminar flow aerodynamics and carbon fiber composite materials that reduce fuel consumption by more than 60%. First flight is planned for 2027, and deliveries will begin in 2030.

In addition to the order, the agreement will see Flexjet’s maintenance organization become an authorized Otto Aerospace service center. The company plans to integrate the Phantom 3500 into its fleet to offer a sustainable, long-range travel experience, maintaining the focus on luxury and personalization that characterizes its brand.

With this contract, Otto Aerospace and Flexjet mark a milestone in business aviation’s transition toward more efficient and sustainable models.
