2025-September-05

Pyka, a renowned robotics company specializing in autonomous aircraft, has entered into its first U.S. distribution agreement with Heinen Brothers Agra Services, one of the largest privately held providers of aerial application services in North America, along with its subsidiary Kelly Hills Unmanned Systems.

Under the agreement, the two companies will distribute and market the Pelican 2, the world’s largest autonomous agricultural aircraft and the largest FAA-licensed unmanned aerial system for commercial use. With an 80-gallon cargo capacity, a work rate of up to 222 acres per hour, and fully autonomous flight, the Pelican 2 promises to transform efficiency and sustainability in American agriculture.

The announcement was made at Kelly Hills Unmanned Systems’ Field Day in Seneca, Kansas, attended by agricultural experts, state officials, and industry leaders. The first deliveries of the Pelican 2 are expected in the coming months, marking a significant step forward in the adoption of autonomous electric aviation technologies in the agricultural sector.
