The Greenhouse Gas Removal Hub announced the launch of Innovation Day 2025, which will take place on October 1st at The Royal Institution, London.

The event will bring together carbon and greenhouse gas removal (GGR) startups with investors, companies, researchers, and policymakers. Startups working on a variety of methods, including biochar, enhanced weathering, DAC, marine CDR, and others, are encouraged to apply. Selection will be based on demonstrated traction or strong technical foundations.

Finalists will present their projects at the event and compete for a place in the UK’s first CDR Accelerator, powered by Undaunted and supported by Innovate UK. Selected startups will receive support in:

âś… Techno-economic analysis for scaling
âś… MRV validation
âś… Regulatory and policy readiness
âś… Integration of AI into technological solutions
âś… Access to a network of experts, investors, and policymakers.
