Eve Air Mobility announced a strategic partnership with Kanematsu Corporation, Nakanihon Air, Nippon Koei, and Skyports Infrastructure to explore the first vertihub concept in Osaka.

August 19 2025

This project, selected by the prefecture and city of Osaka to receive public funding, places the company at the forefront of the advanced air mobility (AAM) sector in Japan.

The collaboration seeks to establish essential infrastructure for eVTOL aircraft, including maintenance, parking, and ground support, to improve urban mobility and alleviate congestion in Osaka. This effort represents a critical step toward eVTOL adoption, with Nakanihon Air, the country’s leading helicopter operator, serving as a key driver in the transition to new forms of air transportation.

The study will assess technical needs and foster cooperation with regional stakeholders to facilitate the integration of this innovative infrastructure into Japan’s mobility ecosystem.
