Archer Aviation announces new partnership with PT. Industri Ketahanan Nasional (IKN) to bring Midnight to Indonesia as part of its "Launch Edition" program.

Archer Aviation Inc. has announced that Indonesia will be its next market within its “Launch Edition” program, thanks to a new strategic partnership with PT. Industri Ketahanan Nasional (IKN).
This agreement marks a decisive step toward introducing the Midnight electric aircraft to one of Southeast Asia’s largest and most diverse countries, as part of a global strategy to validate and replicate eVTOL deployment models prior to type certification in the U.S.
The partnership with IKN includes:
The launch of Archer air taxi services in Indonesia
The potential purchase of up to 50 Midnight aircraft, for an estimated value of $250 million
The joint analysis of additional commercial and strategic uses, such as air logistics and environmental applications
The collaboration with Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation to establish a regulatory roadmap to enable the safe and scalable operation of eVTOL in the country.
