APG invests up to €250 million in SkyNRG to accelerate SAF takeoff

SkyNRG, the Dutch pioneer in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), has secured a strategic investment of up to €250 million from APG, on behalf of its client ABP, the largest pension fund in the Netherlands.

🔋 This financing will support:

New SAF production facilities in the Netherlands (Delfzijl), Sweden (SkyKraft), and the US (Silbón)

Expansion of its global SAF platform: R&D, advisory, and corporate programs

Scaling of a 100% dedicated model for sustainable aviation fuels

APG joins Macquarie Asset Management, which increases its investment to €225 million, reinforcing confidence in the potential of SAF as a key solution for decarbonizing global aviation.
