BETA Technologies has successfully completed the first leg of its Grand Tour with a 153-nautical-mile flight over the Irish Sea. The electric aircraft took off from Weston-super-Mare Airfield (EIWT) in Dublin and landed at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (EGGP), meeting IFR reservation requirements.

This initial leg demonstrates the long-range capability, safety, and autonomy of BETA’s eVTOL aircraft, underscoring its potential for commercial and logistics applications.
