Singapore Airlines Group (SIA), in collaboration with its subsidiary Scoot, has signed key agreements with Neste and World Energy to acquire Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and SAF certificates.

May 12 2025

In this new transaction, the group acquired 1,000 tonnes of CORSIA-eligible pure SAF, produced by Neste at its Singapore refinery. The fuel was blended locally and loaded at Changi Airport, reaffirming the company’s commitment to developing the SAF ecosystem in Singapore and the resilience of its supply chain.

This is the second batch of pure SAF acquired by SIA from Neste’s Singapore refinery, representing a concrete step towards more sustainable aviation, as the airline gains valuable experience in standards, certifications, and routes for the energy transition in air transport.
