Ondas Holdings Receives $3.4 Million Order for Its Iron Drone Raider Counter-UAS System in Europe

April 28 2025

Boston, MA | April 28, 2025 — Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced today that it has received a $3.4 million order for its Iron Drone Raider counter-UAS system from a major European defense contractor, destined for a government customer. This purchase marks the first deployment of Iron Drone Raider in Europe and reinforces the company’s global growth in the defense and aviation security sector.

The Iron Drone Raider is an autonomous system designed to intercept and neutralize hostile drones, including those operating without GPS signals or remote control. Equipped with artificial intelligence-based processing, the interceptor drone can autonomously identify, capture, and neutralize threats before returning for immediate redeployment. Its reusable and secure approach is designed to protect critical infrastructure and civilian populations, particularly in dense urban environments.

This new contract strengthens Ondas’ position as a prime contractor for emerging defense technology, a strategy the company has been promoting with recent deployments in the Middle East and the growing adoption of its autonomous platforms like Optimus for ISR (Intelligence, Security, and Reconnaissance) missions.

It seems that the future of defense will not only be automated, but also much smarter. While some continue to think of physical walls, Ondas is betting on an “invisible wall” of drones ready to act 24/7. It’s not magic; it’s well-applied technology.
