Vision Aeronautics continues to advance the development of its Vector 5 eVTOL aircraft, a seven-seat, 3-ton class lift-and-cruise model designed for medical rescue, evacuation, and emergency response applications.

The Vector 5 has been presented by the company as one of the first high-capacity eVTOLs specifically focused on EMS (Emergency Medical Services) and SAR (Search and Rescue) operations. The aircraft uses a lift-and-cruise configuration with multiple dedicated rotors for vertical takeoff and landing, as well as independent thrusters for cruise flight.

According to information released by the company, the Vector 5 has a capacity for seven passengers, a payload of up to 680 kg, and a maximum takeoff weight of approximately 3 tons. The model aims to serve applications such as medical transport, emergency flights, air tourism, and regional connectivity.

Vision Aeronautics also highlighted that the development of high-capacity aircraft could expand the use of eVTOLs in critical operations where conventional helicopters currently predominate, especially in medical evacuation and rapid response scenarios.

The company is currently in the development and technology validation phase, conducting prototype tests and preliminary technical evaluations of the Vector 5. To date, the aircraft has not yet been certified by regulatory authorities, and no official commercial operations have been announced. Published progress indicates that the program continues in the pilot testing and preparation stages for future certification campaigns.

In parallel, Vision Aeronautics has been strengthening the program’s development through new funding and investment initiatives aimed at accelerating research, systems integration, and future production capabilities for its eVTOL platforms.

The development of the Vector 5 reflects the growing interest in the advanced air mobility market for higher-capacity electric aircraft focused on medical, logistics, and disaster response applications.
