Eve Air Mobility Advances Testing Program with Flight Demonstration for Brazilian Authorities
6 April 2026
Eve Air Mobility recently conducted a demonstration flight of its engineering prototype at its Gavião Peixoto facility (São Paulo, Brazil), with government officials in attendance, including President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. This milestone adds to the sustained progress of its flight test campaign.
The demonstration took place a few days after the company reached approximately 35 cumulative flights and nearly an hour and a half of operation since testing began in December 2025. During this period, the program has validated key aircraft systems, showing consistent results in terms of performance and operational efficiency.
According to CEO Johann C. Bordais, the company maintains a disciplined approach to its testing campaign, prioritizing risk reduction and strengthening the necessary foundations to move toward certification.
This advancement reinforces Eve’s position in the global development of advanced air mobility solutions, in a context where technical validation and operational consistency are key factors for the commercial entry of eVTOL aircraft.
