Archer to Integrate Starlink into its Midnight eVTOL to Offer Satellite Connectivity for Urban Air Taxis

27 Feb 2026

Archer Aviation announced on February 27, 2026, that it will work with Starlink to integrate low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite connectivity into its Midnight electric aircraft, marking Starlink’s entry into advanced air mobility.

The Midnight, designed to carry up to four passengers, will incorporate high-speed, low-latency internet, enabling stable connectivity for both passengers and communication between pilots and ground crews. The solution aims to ensure consistent coverage even in dense urban environments and at low altitudes.

In addition to enhancing the onboard experience, the partnership lays the groundwork for the future development of autonomous aircraft and strengthens the digital infrastructure necessary for commercial air taxi operations in the United States.
