Airobotics Tests Iron Drone C-UAS System in Europe with Real-World Operations
4 May 2026
Airobotics, part of Ondas Holdings Inc., has conducted operational testing of its Iron Drone system in the Czech Republic, validating its performance under real-world conditions within the European environment.
The Iron Drone system is designed as a Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) solution, focused on the autonomous detection, tracking, and interception of drones. According to the company, the platform allows these functions to be executed in real time, integrating rapid response capabilities against threats in modern airspace.
Unlike theoretical or development-stage solutions, the system is already deployed in multiple regions, where it is being used to protect critical infrastructure and urban environments. These operations reflect a growing trend toward the adoption of autonomous technologies in the field of defense and air security.
The advancement of systems like Iron Drone responds to the increased risks associated with the unauthorized use of drones, positioning C-UAS solutions as a key component in airspace management and the security of strategic assets.
With these tests, Airobotics continues to strengthen its focus on autonomous systems applied to defense, in a context where response speed, automation, and scalability are becoming increasingly important.
