Sky-Drones Optimizes SkyLane-350 with High-Pressure Hydrogen Tank for Extended Endurance

9 April 2026

Sky-Drones has unveiled a hydrogen storage system for its SkyLane-350 platform, designed to maximize mission duration without compromising payload capacity.

The lightweight, high-strength tank operates at pressures up to 300 bar, allowing compressed hydrogen to be stored in a compact volume. Its design is optimized for direct integration into the fuselage architecture, maintaining the drone’s structural and operational efficiency.

This solution reinforces the focus on hydrogen-based propulsion as an alternative for extending endurance in UAV operations, especially for long-range, energy-intensive missions.
