FlyNow Introduces its Electric eCopter for Aerial Firefighting

9 Jan 2026

FlyNow Aviation unveiled its electric eCopter designed for rapid response operations to urban and forest fires. The aircraft aims to significantly reduce arrival times at the scene of an emergency, overcoming the usual limitations of ground traffic and access to complex terrain.

The eCopter reaches a maximum speed of 130 km/h, enabling earlier intervention in fires in remote areas, mountainous regions, or dense urban environments, such as high-rise buildings. This rapid deployment capability helps contain incidents in their initial stages and reduces the risk of them escalating into larger emergencies.

The eCopter’s compact design, with an operational footprint of just 7 m², allows it to be operated from rooftops, urban helipads, or small response facilities, expanding strategic positioning options for emergency services.

With this offering, FlyNow Aviation proposes a new approach to firefighting, based on electric aerial mobility, operational simplicity, and optimized response times.
