VoloXPro Receives Special Flight Permit from CAAC in China

Volocopter reached a significant milestone in China after receiving a Special Flight Permit for its VoloXPro aircraft, granted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Eastern Regional Administration, on November 19. This authorization represents a key step in the certification process and paves the way for the future commercialization of the aircraft in one of the most strategic markets for urban air mobility.

With this permit, the VoloXPro will begin a nationwide demonstration tour in various cities, showcasing its capabilities as a sustainable urban air mobility solution. The approval reflects significant progress in the integration of eVTOL aircraft into Chinese airspace.

Volocopter emphasized that this advancement was made possible through the collaboration between its team and partners, underscoring its commitment to a more efficient, innovative, and environmentally friendly future of mobility.
