Urban-Air Port and Nalwa Aero Announce Strategic Partnership to Transform Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in India

July 28 2025

London, UK – July 23, 2025 – Urban-Air Port, a global leader in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) infrastructure, and Nalwa Aero, a pioneering developer of eVTOLs in India, have announced a landmark collaboration to accelerate the development of the AAM ecosystem in the Indian market. This agreement marks Urban-Air Port’s first partnership with an Indian eVTOL manufacturer, establishing a strategic platform to deploy modular and scalable infrastructure, in line with government policies and the growing demand for air transport.

The partnership designates Nalwa Aero as one of Urban-Air Port’s preferred VTOL Partners in India, while Urban-Air Port becomes Nalwa Aero’s preferred Infrastructure Partner. This synergy will enable the integration of the NALWA 5X eVTOL with Urban-Air Port’s vertiport solutions, offering a complete “eVTOL plus infrastructure” model for cargo, passenger, medical missions, and defense applications.

🔹 Key objectives of the alliance:

✈️ Market expansion:
India projects growth to 480 million passengers by 2036, with an estimated market value of $25-40 billion by 2030-2033. The partnership seeks to capitalize on this growth, aligning with programs such as UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) and the government’s initiative to develop helipads and drone zones every 50 km along national highways.

🏗️ Government Collaboration:
Both companies will work on developing AAM infrastructure, actively participating in the Indian government’s plans to establish 1,000 heliports and low-altitude air corridors, positioning themselves as key players in the country’s air mobility strategy.

🚀 Comprehensive AAM Solutions:
The agreement contemplates the joint development of products and services spanning the entire air mobility value chain, including physical demonstrations such as the integration of Urban-Air Port’s Air-One vertiport with the NALWA 5X eVTOL.

🤝 Mutual Commitment:
Urban-Air Port will offer Nalwa Aero preferential rights in AAM infrastructure programs in India, while Nalwa Aero will prioritize the deployment of its eVTOL fleet on Urban-Air Port platforms, fostering a long-term strategic collaboration.

With this partnership, Urban-Air Port and Nalwa Aero seek to accelerate the adoption of sustainable, flexible, and future-proof air mobility solutions in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
