The Unmanned Helicopter Design Bureau has created the FALCON.
March 18 2025.
The FALCON unmanned helicopter is a high—tech aircraft created by the Unmanned Helicopters Design Bureau to solve urgent problems in the field of cargo transportation in the most difficult and inaccessible places. Designed according to the classic single-rotor design with a three-bladed main rotor and a two-bladed tail rotor, the FALCON combines optimal aerodynamic characteristics that ensure high efficiency and reliability in all conditions.
Main features and advantages:
Power plant and engine: The helicopter is equipped with a newest gas turbine engine that runs on aviation kerosene. This engine provides not only excellent power, but also high efficiency, making the FALCON an ideal choice for long-haul flights and long-range cargo delivery.
Autonomy and control: One of the main advantages of FALCON is its high degree of autonomy. The avionics complex allows an unmanned helicopter to automatically perform all flight stages: from takeoff and takeoff to the destination area to landing. At the same time, the device is able to hover over the object, performing precise maneuvers to complete a given mission, for example, cargo delivery.
Control and logic of operation: FALCON is equipped with a set of complex algorithms that ensure the complete autonomy of the device in performing its tasks. All operations and actions of an unmanned helicopter are performed depending on the selected operating mode, and the operator’s actions are reduced to choosing one mode or another. During the task, the unmanned helicopter operates completely independently, which greatly simplifies operation and minimizes human interference.
Cargo delivery concept: The concept of cargo delivery using unmanned aerial vehicles developed by the Design Bureau opens up new horizons in logistics, especially in remote and hard-to-reach places. This makes it possible not only to improve the supply of offshore oil and gas platforms, but also to effectively solve the tasks of delivering goods in any climatic zone, including areas with extreme weather conditions.
Tactical and technical characteristics:
o Maximum take-off weight: 950 kg;
o Payload: 200 kg;
o Maximum flight speed: 180 km/h;
o Flight duration with full tanks: up to 4 hours;
o Maximum flight range: 400 km.
These characteristics allow the FALCON unmanned helicopter to be not only powerful, but also an effective means of delivering cargo to remote areas, which is especially important for missions with limited access to ground transportation.
The FALCON unmanned helicopter is not just a vehicle, it is an efficient and reliable solution for modern logistics, which can significantly simplify the delivery of important goods to the most remote corners of the world, ensuring safety, accuracy and saving resources.
