SkyLane-250 Completes 1 Hour 43 Minute BVLOS Flight and Returns with Precise Vertical Landing

16 Feb 2026

The SkyLane-250 hybrid drone successfully completed a 1 hour 43 minute long-range flight mission under #BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) operation, returning to its base shortly before sunset.

During the approach phase, the aircraft reduced speed after cruising in fixed-wing mode and smoothly transitioned to hover mode, subsequently executing a controlled vertical descent for a precise and stable landing.

As daylight diminished, the navigation and anti-collision lights remained clearly visible, ensuring a safe recovery in low-light conditions. The clean and controlled return confirms the system’s ability to operate extended missions with high efficiency and operational safety.

This type of long-duration BVLOS operation reinforces the potential of hybrid drones in logistics, remote delivery, and critical missions, where autonomy, VTOL transition, and landing reliability are critical factors.
