SkyDrive will showcase its eVTOL at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 from October 30 to November 9 in Japan.

TOYOTA, Japan, October 21, 2025. SkyDrive Inc., a leading Japan-based eVTOL aircraft manufacturer, announced its participation in the “Tokyo Future Tour 2035” exhibition, part of the main program of the Japan Mobility Show 2025, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 30 to November 9, 2025.
As part of its collaboration with leading Japanese railway companies, SkyDrive will present a vision of the future of urban mobility that combines rail travel with eVTOL flights. The exhibition will feature a walk-up model of the SkyDrive SD-05 model, accessible through a touch-and-go automatic door, symbolizing a seamless and fluid journey. In addition, visitors will be able to learn about the air route plans the company is developing with its railway industry partners.
Companies collaborating with SkyDrive include:
- Kintetsu Group Holdings Co., Ltd. — Planned routes in the Ise Shima area.
- Osaka Metro Co., Ltd. — “Osaka Diamond” routes connecting four locations in central Osaka.
- East Japan Railway Company (JR East) — Routes between Morioka and Azuma Farm Koiwai.
- JR Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) — Routes in Oita, including flights between Beppu and Yufuin.
SkyDrive also maintains a commercial and technological partnership with Suzuki Motor Corporation, established in March 2022, for the mass production of safe, high-quality eVTOL aircraft. Production will begin at a Suzuki Group plant in Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture, starting in March 2024.
With this collaboration, SkyDrive strengthens its position as a pioneer in advanced air mobility, driving the integration of ground and air transportation as an essential part of future urban infrastructure.
