SkyDrive to Conduct First Demonstration Flight in Tokyo with the eVTOL SKYDRIVE (SD-05)

SkyDrive has announced that, in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Mitsubishi Estate, and Kanematsu, it will conduct demonstration flights of its eVTOL aircraft, the SKYDRIVE (SD-05 model). This event will mark SkyDrive’s first demonstration flight within the city of Tokyo, representing a significant milestone for the development of urban air mobility in Japan.

In addition to the flight, SkyDrive will open a Passenger Experience Test to the public, designed to evaluate the operational flow in a terminal equipped with facial recognition technology, offering a practical glimpse into how future commercial eVTOL operations could function. Both the demonstration flights and the associated facilities will be open to the public for visits.
