SkyDrive and 7A Drones Agree to Purchase eVTOL Aircraft and Medical Evacuation Plan in Penghu

12 Feb 2026

SkyDrive Inc., a leading manufacturer of eVTOL aircraft, has reached a general agreement with 7A Drones Co., Ltd., a prominent Taiwanese drone systems company, for the purchase of 10 “SKYDRIVE” SD-05 eVTOL aircraft. The agreement establishes the framework for the transaction, including pricing and delivery schedules.

As part of this collaboration, both companies have developed a proposed emergency medical evacuation route designed to connect Magong City on Penghu Island with Hujing Island, one of the archipelago’s most remote islands. The route aims to improve access to medical care for residents of isolated areas by optimizing travel times in critical situations.

This agreement strengthens SkyDrive’s expansion in Asia and underscores the potential of eVTOLs for specialized missions, including emergency operations and rapid transport of people in island or hard-to-reach regions.
